The game features a new story and cast of characters, this time led by a mysterious person named Ashley. The story spans various locations and dungeons around the world, offering varying graphical and musical styling. The visuals remain as the same type as the first game: there is a ¾ perspective view that looks down on the characters, something unique from just about every other RPG available. The backgrounds appear as 3D polygons, though each of the characters are sprites, with plenty of animations to make their motions fluid and smooth. The battle system is a slow-paced turn-based affair, letting the player have plenty of time to think over each move. WILD ARMS: 2nd Ignition offers gameplay that mixes the classic RPG style with other contemporary games, and a graphics system that no other game can match. Features
