Game Description

The arcade hit HYDRO THUNDER has come to the PlayStation. Take control of nine different super powerful boats and hit the water in 12 different tracks. On every track the goal is simple: collect power-ups, use shortcuts, and be the first to the finish line. Choose a track and get racing in the Arcade mode, or for more of a challenge, play the Circuit mode where players must finish in the top three to have enough money to pay the entry fee for the next race. If dealing with other boats keeps giving you a headache, try to earn the fastest time in the Time Trial mode. If your friends want to join the powerboat racing, use the two-player mode to challenge them to a race. The wind will whip through your hair, and you just might get splashed with some water while playing HYDRO THUNDER.
