Beautiful game!

It's a beautiful game and would have been so much more if one could explore the surroundings better. It's sort of a neo-sidescroller. The fights are awesome, giving you many options and strategies (if you pay attention to the tutorials) but, they are hard. You can expect a few redos on this game as the fights get pretty intense.
Bottom line: If you are a hard core rpger who enjoys hard battles, beautiful graphics, music, and don't mind a semi-turn based fight, this is your game!

surrenda is right, this game is beautiful, and I totally agree with not being able to explore more mainly because the surroundings look amazing.

I've played a couple of tri-ace RPG's and I really enjoy their battle systems, very active. It reminded my a lot like Star Ocean: Till the End of Time but a lot easier to level up. Expect to die a bit though as some of the enemies give you a run for your money.

I bought this game a before FFXII came out and I'm just about to finish it now. I've put over 70hrs into it and love it. The story is very enjoyable and has quite a few ups and downs. With the battle system being as enjoyable as it is, it doesn't make playing the game a chore. Pick this game up!
