PlayStation 2 » Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal » Reviews5 STARSReviewed by saizmjamaza on September 25, 2006 | report this review I love these games. One of the few that I actually enjoy playing on PS2. But always leaves me wanting more and I can never wait for the next installment to come out! And the weapons are AWSOME! Great GameReviewed by urzaz on March 25, 2007 | report this review While this entry in the Ratchet and Clank series delivers what the series is loved for in spade, (inventive weapons and lots of action) it also is slightly more diverse than the other titles, with all sorts things you'll find yourself doing, from dodging missiles while skydiving out of a dropship, to covering a team of robot workers while they repair a turret, and even playing interactive sidescrolling "comics" starring Captain Quark. Overall a great game with lots of everything.
One of my favorites on the PS2Reviewed by mahmed1998 on August 12, 2007 | report this review This is the best in the series, in my opinion, and one of the best games on the ps2. It's funny, has a pretty good story, and great characters. The dialog is great, but the gameplay is where it shines. This game far surpasses the other 2, with a lot more to do, and a lot more weapons to choose from. From the vid comic sidequests, to the battle arena, there's a lot of enjoyment in this game, considering the gameplay length in most games nowadays (ps3, xbox360, I'm looking at you) is around 10 hours. I played this for about 35 hours the first time, and I didn't do nearly everything there was to do. Highly recommended, but play the first 2 before you play this one, or it might ruin the other 2 for you. Best one yet!Reviewed by healing on August 26, 2007 | report this review The third installment of the Ratchet and Clank series is better than all the rest! I got this game at about 11:30 pm the day it was released and I did not stop playing until 3:00. The story is awesome, the game takes you to some exotic new worlds and also gives you a little nostalgia for the first game. You get to explore new areas of Metropolis and Blackwater City (complete with a remixed version of the music from the R&C 1 levels ) The weapons are even more inventive this time, and you get to play with some classics from the first R&C games. Insomniac fixed all the problems this time around, including the biggest of all, purchasing ammo. Now there is a button that comes up when you enter the vendor that allows you to fill all of your weapons you with one click!
