Game Description

Sony's officially licensed Formula One 2001 includes all the teams, drivers, and tracks of the Formula One World Championship. The Quick Race and Grand Prix modes are catered for both newcomers and experienced gamers alike, while users have a choice of Single Race, Race Weekend, or World Championship modes on top of it. Exclusive commentary from Murray Walker and Martin Brundle has been included also, in addition to full 17-man pit crews, realistic track marshals, and individual cockpits. Driving aids allow players to tailor the realism of the game to their liking, with ABS brakes, anti-wheelspin, and steer/brake assist completely adjustable at any time. Furthermore, driver AI is based on more than 30 different parameters that was compiled by real F1 professionals, while complete team lineups and enhanced car damage are highlighted as well.
