PlayStation 2 » Disgaea: Hour of Darkness » ReviewsGreat funReviewed by Spudz777 on December 01, 2006 | report this review This is an excellent strategy RPG, with a whimsical storyline and lovable (if evil) characters. The main story is rather short, but number of side-quests is staggering. The New Game+ option adds a huge amount of replay value. Copies of this game are rare/expensive, at best, but it's a must-have as far as I'm concerned. Rebirth of the Turn Based Strategy GameReviewed by hawki320 on November 09, 2007 | report this review I was like I'm sure many of you were a huge fan of Final Fantasy Tactics for Playstation One. It was the first time I was introduced to turn-based strategy; a genre without equal in terms of blending action with role playing elements. I'd recommend this game to anyone who shares the same interest in turn-based strategy, as this is a shining example of how to do it right. There are a bunch of character classes to choose from, and an infinite amount of customization for each character. The battles get a little stale after a while; the game lacks the weight and depth of FF Tactics, but the technical side is almost flawless. A must-play for al fans of the genre.
