Unlock Zero Suit Samus

There are two methods to acquiring Zero Suit Samus. The first and easiest method is to hold down the R button (on the GameCube or Classic controllers) or the B button (on the Wiimote) from the stage select screen. Hold down R, select Samus, select your stage, and then release the R button. You should start the battle not as "armored" Samus, but Zero Suit Samus.

The other method is if you decide to start the battle as regular Samus. You can switch to Zero Suit Samus by quickly pressing up and down repeatedly extremely fast on the d-pad. This is difficult to do, and can't be done on the Wiimote (since the A button only provides one taunt, and there's no other equivalent). If you do this, keep in mind that you can't switch back during the battle to regular "armored" Samus.

Unlockable: Virtual Console Trials

You can unlock Virtual Console trials of old classic Nintendo games by fulfilling the requirements listed.

Donkey Kong - Play SSBB for ten hours
F-Zero - Complete the Subspace Emissary
Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) - Win with Peach in VS. mode five times
Super Mario World - Play on Yoshi's Island's stage three times
The Legend of Zelda - Play as Toon Link ten times

Original Wario Costume

Choose Wario and go down to where you choose the color of the character. Change it 6 times to play as the original Wario.

Ok the best way in a game to get challenges done like play on (enter stage name here) or play with (place character name here) ok all you need 2 do is go 2 group, then go 2 special brawl, set it up so it says STAMINA, FLOWER, FAST. then u SHOULD put stage selection 2 random if u just need 2 play with certain character, otherwise put it as CHOOSE

IMPORTAINT!!!!! SET COM'S HEALTH TO 1

P.S. u do not even need 2 throw a punch the flower does all the work 4 u and the game ends about a sec. after u start it.

P.P.S. soz 4 postin again but i 4got 1 key detail and that is that u want 2 make sure it is set up for 1life stock.

P.P.P.S. DO NOT LISTEN 2 CCC about easily unlocking all characters in 2 hours if u look in the booklet it will tell you that the special matches r 4 fun and are not recorded in your record.

SOZ CCC but i waisted about 6hr. trin 2 do this and finally looked in the book and read that. was like OMG!!!!!

But i did figure out that you could still get challenges done like that

How to unlock Wolf

firts of all, you need to beat adventure mode. after that you can revisit every part of adventure mode you want to go to, with is really important. look fo the place called THE RUINS (it should be a brown, old tower on the map) pick any character you want and go in it.just keep on going through the level untill you get to the part with a platform lowering itself slowly with purple crystals apear off the wals to hurt you.when you come to the first door, ignore it and keep going down. soon the platform dissapears and you just fall down to this pit with these jiant ball s that make copies of themselves ignore them (if you want to, or kick their @#%) and go into the only door thats there. you 'll have to fight wolf and win to unlock him

I see this argued again and again in forums. To unlock him, 2 requirements have to be met.
1. Beat Subspace Emissary
2. Beat classic with Link
If you have already beatened classic with Link, beat SSE and then return to classic mode and clear it with ANY character to have Toon Link challenge you, as long as you have Link's trophy. I cleared it with Sonic to have him challenge me.

first, beat adventure mode (sse). then return to the level called THE SWAMP. now, this is gona be a little hard to explain, but ill try. just go through the level till you fight giant diddy. after you kill him, keep on going untill you get to the barrels that shoot you out of them when your in them, try to avoid them so you dont go in them and around there , you'll see a floating door which takes you to battle jiggly pufff and get her

Solid Snake's Hidden Codec

For any Metal Gear fan, the inclusion of Solid Snake in SSBB was a welcomed surprise. As well as having a cool level for Snake, there is also an easter egg that's pretty cool and that's in-game codec conversations (as seen in all MG/and heard in later MGS games).

First off, you will get different codec conversations for EVERY character you fight and each will be different. First, select Snake and the Shadow Moses level. Then select any character you'd like. At any time during the fight, quickly press the taunt button repeated (down on the d-pad by default). If you'd like to hear the entire codec conversation without interruption, you may want to do this before the level starts. However, there are different codec conversations you get if you die while in a conversation (all are very funny and you will get even more out of the codec if you are a MGS fan).

This is a VERY simple and quick way to acquire collectibles. First, create a stage. Have 4 small blocks together to former a square. Now have about 3 conveyors on the side goin directly to the blocks. Now make 2 levels of 2 conveyor belts each making a V pattern. U are makin it so that whatever should land will go to the center and running against the wall for easy accesibility without the worry of falling off. Now comes the fun part. Make a brawl on this stage, select ur characters and turn all items off EXCEPT SANDBAGS! I recommend putting it on high, too. When the match starts, put ur back to the wall and just unload on the sandbags. Since both sandbags and items will now come to u, u never have to do anything but rapidly tap A. U will get LOADS of stickers, probably all songs within an hour, and 2-5 trophies. Piece of cake.

Star Fox series' hidden taunts

Just as in SSBM, Fox has hidden taunts in SSBB. With either Fox, Falco, or Wolf, choose the Lylat Cruise and when the match starts, quickly tap the down taunt (Similiar to Snake's in Shadow Moses stage). U can tell if u did it correctly. Now, when the ship warp, depending on what area u r warping to, u will hear the entire cast talk via radio, just like in the Star Fox series!

some tips and glithches

does everyone know about the Ness and Mr. Game & Watch glitch from Melee? well u can still do it in brawl. best way to avoid link, toon link, ike, marth, zelda, shiek and captain falcon's final smash is to shield and press down on the control stick (classic, wii and nunchuck, and gcn control ) or d-pad (wiimote tilted sideways) to step-dodge. easy way of getting the final smash ball: use characters with projectiles, snake is an excellent one cuz his nikkita can be controlled w/o u moving ( waste of tme jumping and attacking). if ur using the codec (snake on shadow mosses island only) and u die in the middle of the conversation then... well u find out. beat ways to ko opponents with ness and lucas final smash. first their hp has to be high enough (obviously). the second is if their hp is 0% and they are above u and u have the final smash (for ness and lucas) activate it. it doesnt matter where u use it but the opponents have to be above u. chances are the comets will ricochet them and ko them either avouve or left or right (most likely into the corners).
