This game is good, FLUDD adds a lot of depth to gameplay.
Story as always is bad, put whatever.
Controls may get frustrating, but mostly good.
No multiplayer :(
Super MArio 64 was better, but SMS is a good game none
the less.

Great game, unique gameplay with the Water Cannon. Another good Mario game, but its not the best. Biggest fault: the camera is terrible. Other than that, I had fun playing the game.

Pros:
-3D Mario...with a water cannon
-Fun levels
-Tough boss levels

Cons:
-Stupid camera...killed me so many times

Almost perfect

It is Mairo at his best..
i got every single shine in this game.. every single thing that was secret.. i GOT! so i spent a lot of time and enjoyed it all

I think of the GCN having three first-party killer titles: Zelda the Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, and Mario Sunshine.

This game is probably the best mario game that I've played. Lots of times the music and graphics make you feel like you're in the world (which is awesomely designed by the way).

Presentation: 9/10

Gameplay: 8.5/10 (Gets a bit repetitive)
Sound: 9.5/10
Fun Factor: 10/10

Mario Sunshine is everything you would expect from a Mario game . . . great storyline, beautiful visuals, fun characters, and cool areas!

Fun Enough for me to actually spend time getting all 120 shine sprites. the controls felt very natural, even for one who was not that into gaming at the time. There was always something to do, and the different worlds became familiar, but not so much that they were too easy to complete. The story wasn't as deep as I would have liked, but it was good for a Mario game. And Bowser didn't have as much of a presence as I wold have liked. He's always in the party games, but never in the platformers. Instead there was this shadow Mario guy who got very annoying.

Great game all around! FLUDD adds a whole new level of gameplay. the controls are very natural (besides the spin of coarse), and the inclusion of Yoshi was a major bonus. I do have to agree with other reviews that the camera could be much better, and has occasionaly been the cause of many deaths, but besides the camera the game is great! all i can say is i wish i could have enjoyed mario galaxy as much as i did sunshine.
