In the last story, when you have to do Knuckles' mission, after you hit the time switch and you go in the tunnel thing. make sure you have some rings, and also make sure that time is frozen when you try this: the ceiling is that green acid thing, you jump right into it, lose ur rings, keep going and youll go off the screen. hold down the a button(so you hear the flying noise) then if you choose the right building, you can just fly right into the wall and hit the switch to open the security door.

Chao Garden Glitch

You can fly over the ocean inside the Chao Garden. If you go to the waterfall, there should be a little corner there where the rocks meet the invisible wall. If you can find that spot, then be Sonic or Shadow and repeatedly do a homing attack right there. It shouldn't take long for you to go right through the wall! You'll be floating outside the garden! You'll see a double image of your character in a falling position, but they won't fall. You can control their movements. Float wherever you want. If you go far enough, you'll leave the area's boundaries altogether and be floating in space. It's really weird. You can come back in, and when you do, all your chao will be underground. It's very strange.

In Knuckles' space mission, If you break a door by punching a meteor at it, you can find a switch that opens the floor to the building so you can get the upgrade Sunglasses. Use the sunglasses to find an extra life right next to the upgrade. There are also rings there.

yeah, I know that the true last emerald is in the wind storm, but if you use your sunglasses, it should not be too hard to get.

My problem was finding the one in the hidden room. turns out the room is outside under one of the two lower platforms. dig into the wall where the picture is and put your sunglasses on. go into the room with the three rings under it. WARNING!!! get the life first, cause its such a pain trying to do it all over again just for a life, even though every life helps. the emerald should (and will be) sitting right in frount of the life.
