Great gameReviewed by Slippy on September 03, 2006 | report this review One of the best games on the cube; definetly the most imaginative. GreatReviewed by pissedcheese on September 20, 2006 | report this review I agree with Slippy
A must have for gamecube ownersReviewed by switters on December 01, 2006 | report this review One of the best survival-horror games, and one of my favorites on the gamecube. This is one of the only games where at times it feels like the game is playing you. The psychological tricks are a blast and definately add to the game. Good gameplay and a long and interesting story make this a great game. Eternal Darkness : Sanity's RequiemOne of the few must-play Game Cube games. On a system not exactly overflowing with Survival-Horror, or for that matter, RPGs of any type - - Eternal Darkness is just what the doctor ordered. Good puzzles, solid story, and great atmosphere really make this game a lot of fun. The Sanity-losing effects frequently come out of nowhere and are somtimes rather horrifying...say like that time after I saved and the screen showed all of my save files being deleted - - that's hella scarier then RE anyday! WowReviewed by FHGaming Dev. on July 07, 2007 | report this review This game definitely fits its subtitle Sanity's Requiem.
Graphics - 3.5/5 Pretty nice. Game-Play - 4.5/5 The game play is very smooth, except for the classic sword-in-the-wall glitch. The aiming is cool too. Replay Value - 4/5 You can play it three different ways, fr the three alignments. That's pretty neat. Controls - 3/5 It's a little complicated at first. Side Quests - 2/5 The only side quests are getting the Arabok Rune, getting the enchanted gladius, and beating the game 3 times. Story - 5/5 A very unique storyline. It draws you in a lot. Total value - 4.5/5 - A great game for fans of horror and thriller type stuff. one of my personal favorite games. Worth buying a GamecubeReviewed by TrustworthyPal on January 31, 2008 | report this review This is the game that should be used to promote video games as art. It's a clever interactive experience that doesn't just scare the crap out of the player- It will make you fell like you're going insane. As your character starts to flip out, the programmers will also start playing head-games with the player. It's a completely unique and innovative game (Which might appear to some as just another Resident Evil rip-off, but it's not). It is worth buying a Gamecube just to play this exclusive title. |
