Mario hits us with another RPG.

Lets see... This is the 5th Mario RPG made. This game has the same mechanics as M&L: Superstar Saga, but with a new twist. You now get to control 4 Marios! Both Baby, and adult versions of the brothers are playable. Mario RPGs are always funny and quirky. This game is no acception. This game is great for RPG fans and people who loved previous Mario RPGs.

I'm not usually a fan of RPGs, but I can't help but love this game. It's more of an action-RPG in that you can hit A at certain times in the battle to inflict more damage, and I like that extra interactivity. Not too lengthy, but not too short either.

Pros:
-Fun, fairly quick pace
-RPG + Action
-Great fight sequences
-Tough Bosses
-Funny storyline

Cons:
-Baby Mario is sooooo irritating

the graphics arent amazing but they do the job. The game tries to be funny but really i never found my self laughing. The battle system focuses mostly on timing and pressing things at the right time which i dont really like and if you can get it down and recognize patterns, it can get easy.

Feels like a sequel

The original Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga was funny, well-conceived, and above all, fresh.

This one is fun, conceived, and a good experience for someone who is perhaps jaded by the automatic nature of most RPG battles. The fight sequences are very actiony, requiring precise timing and a lot of endurance. Perhaps I was not diligent enough to make Mario and Luigi and mario and luigi stronger, but it seemed that boss battles took forever, to the point where I couldn't stand to play by the time they were over.

That's not necessarily bad. And this title is certainly not bad. It is very good. Polished. But it isn't particularly inspired. The first one is amazing, and in fact, I can't imagine enjoying this one if I hadn't played the first. Superstar Saga made me crave more of the same dynamic; Partners of Time satisfied that craving, and now I am lying in bed, clutching my stomach, wondering how I ate the whole thing.

So, I say, Play the first first.

You know what is better than mario and luigi working together? Both of them working with their baby selves! The game is mostly based on time warps which Mario and Luigi go through to stop things from going wrong.Of course the babies will be of special help.
